Hi Reader, I’ve been making bouquets for several years now and whenever I tell people what I do they always say: “Wow you’re so lucky!” And I know you aren’t thinking of weeding or the 95 degree days in July… you are imagining picking flowers in a sundress. I’m not going to lie, the best part of working with flowers is picking them in the cool morning while the sun rises. I’ve offered U-pick flower events annually, and everyone has loved them. So I have an exciting announcement to make! drumroll This summer we’re opening a full-time U-pick garden at the farm store! Now you can experience the joy of picking your bouquet at our specially designed garden. Willow Haven Farm General store in Breiningsville is open Tuesday-Friday from 7 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 7 am to 4 pm. You’ll be able to pick flowers from our raised beds anytime during open hours.
(Have you made a visit to the store yet Reader? Grab a coffee there this week and let them know I sent you!) The garden will officially open in mid-June or when the flowers start blooming. You will want to visit weekly and bring your friends for a fabulous experience. I can't wait to see you there! Your flower farmer, Annika Vercillo PS: Stay tuned for my next email on how it all works and find out how you can get a free bouquet! |
I help people enjoy flowers by providing a Flower CSA so ladies can enjoy farm grown flowers all summer!

Remember me Reader? You may not even remember my name or how you signed up for my email list since I haven’t sent an email in over a year! I think the best thing is to reintroduce myself, explain where I’ve been and then you can decide if you’d like to keep hearing from me or not. I’m Annika DeMaster of Willow Haven Flowers which I started in 2019 as a summer job to make some money for my college education. I spent five summers growing flowers, making bouquets and running a business. I had a...
HelloReader, Did you grow up reading Anne of Green Gables like I did? Maybe you loved the dreamy descriptions of the lake of shining waters and violet vale just as much as hearing about her misadventures. Anne’s love of flowers practically leaps off the pages. This quote from the book shows the transformative power of flowers: Before flowers… “The parlor at Green Gables was a rather severe and gloomy apartment, with rigid horsehair furniture, stiff lace curtains, and white antimacassars that...
